Wallace Warren Denney (Seymour)'s Obituary
Wallace Warren Denney was born the son of Ruth Irene (Johns) Denney and McKinley Denney in Sarvis Point, Webster County, Missouri on September 5, 1929. He departed this life at the age of 89 years, 6 months and 23 days.
He is preceded in death by his wife Geraldine in 2005, an infant daughter Diann, his parents, one sister Ethylene Hunholz, three brothers Harold Denney, Norman Denney and Keith Denney and four nephews Thomas Denney, Doug Denney, Jeromy Denny and Mike Hunholz.
He is survived by two sisters Glenda Mingus and her husband John of Seymour, Patsy Ice of Springfield, two brothers Lonnie Denney and wife Joyce and Dale Denney both of Seymour. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends as well as his self adopted son Butch Conley.
Wallace grew up in the Seymour area as the second of nine children. He attended Seymour school and later proudly served his country as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airbourne Division of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. After serving his country he returned to the Seymour area where he married his wife Geraldine on July 6, 1960. He was employed at the Brown Shoe Factory, H.D. Lee and retired from Hutchens Industries.
Wallace enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with his canine buddy Otto. He had a sweet compassion for animals and caring for them. He had an adventurous spirit and always enjoyed telling an exciting story to friends and family. He was a kind and helpful neighbor and friend. His loud jolly laugh was contagious and enjoyed by all who knew him.
His memory will be cherished and Wallace will be missed very much by all those who loved him.
