Walt A. Clough, Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Walter Allen Clough, Jr., son of Walter Allen Clough, Sr. and Stella Moreland Clough, was born January 15, 1951, in St. Charles, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, June 21, 2018, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, five months, and six days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald; and a sister, Suzy.
Walt is survived by a daughter, Lisa Clough, and Travis Landreth, of Sleeper, Missouri; a son, Walter, E. Clough, of the State of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Christopher Rodden, Alicia Landreth, Heavelee Firestine, Trayton Jones, Cadden Dermuth, Dillon Clough, and Renee Clough; a great-grandchild, Ben Rigby; a brother, Richard Clough, and his wife, Debbie, of Oak Grove, Missouri; two sisters, Sharron Miller, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Margaret Wilson, and her husband, Bill, of Kennett, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Debbie Hicks, of Lebanon, Missouri; a very dear Army friend, Jerry Cox, of the State of Illinois; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in St. Charles, Missouri, and moved with his family to Stoutland, Missouri, when he was a child. He then attended Stoutland Schools. He entered the military as a young man and served his country faithfully in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany and Denmark during his tours of duty. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he returned to the Stoutland area. Through the years, he had worked for Lowe Boats and also for G-3 Boats, where he was a team leader.
In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing and hunting. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Walt was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
