Walter Hahn's Obituary
Walter Samuel Hahn, Jr., son of Walter Samuel Hahn and Mary Jeanette Shoun Hahn, was born, August 6, 1948 in Yale, Oklahoma. He departed this life, Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Linn Creek, Missouri at the age of fifty-eight years, five months and seventeen days. On August 7, 2003 he was united in marriage to Robin Elane Watson and together they shared the last three and one-half years. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Robin of the home; sons, Eric Luchini and his wife, Niki, and their daughter, Emma, of Wellington, Florida, Don Trandum, III and his children, Kendra and Jacob, of Camdenton, Missouri, Levi Trandum and his wife, Katrina, and their children, Adreanna, Seth and Grant, of Montreal, Missouri; a daughter, Tanya Borlase and her husband, Jeff, and their children, Taylor, Kaya, Alexis, Tristan, Eli and Stevenson, of Morrisville, North Carolina; his mother and father, Jeanette and Arlo Forsyth, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; brothers, Bill Hahn and his wife, Kathy, of Sacramento, California, Jim Hahn of Oklahoma; sisters, Darlene Phillips and her husband, Butch, of the State of Missouri, and Orvilla McDaniel and her husband, Dennis, of Spring, Texas; father- and mother-in-law, Marion and Bertha Watson, of Linn Creek, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Dowty Watson and his wife, Leisa, of Montreal, Missouri, and Steve Watson of Macks Creek, Missouri; and his two best friends and the loves of his life, Caesar and Cleopatra, his Bernese Mountain dogs; as well as a host of much loved nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Sam was raised in California. After graduating from high school he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he returned to California for a short time where he began his career doing commercial painting and dry wall. He moved to Kansas City and continued his career and retired from the Painters District #3 in 2003. He then retired to the lake area. He was a member of the VFW in Kansas City, Missouri and the Harley Club in Lebanon, Missouri. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and playing with his two dogs. Sam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri. Memorials to Deweys Toys for Kids may be made through the funeral home.
