Wanda Blackburn (Bolivar) 's Obituary
Wanda Blackburn, 60, of Humansville, MO passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at CMH in Bolivar, MO.
Wanda was born on New Year’s Day in 1957 to Floyd and Donna Goins Johnson. From an early age, Wanda was known as a giving person. She would often buy gifts for no other reason than she thought of others. Her personality was always kind and cheerful.
Wanda enjoyed doing things outdoors, especially with her family. Simply being outside for Wanda would raise her spirits.
Wanda had several nieces and nephews, and treated them all as if they were her own children. She loved to buy them gifts for Christmas, their birthdays, or simply for fun. Her giving attitude was often poured into her family.
Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, William Blackburn, as well as her brothers, Ronald Lee Goins and Troy Goins.
Wanda is survived by her siblings, Patsy Alan, Floretta Manuel, Rick Goins and wife Debbie, Kay Lewis, Connie Johnson, Robbin Allen and husband Floyd, Sandra Lumley, David Rima and wife Lori, as well as her dearest friend Don Rima. Wanda is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Wanda’s lights will not soon be forgotten.
Graveside services for Wanda Blackburn will be held Thursday, December 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Humansville Cemetery under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Humansville, MO. Visitation will take place Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5-7 at the Butler Funeral Home in Humansville, MO.
