Wanda Jean Hildebrand (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Wanda Hildebrand, 78, passed away September 7, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born November 4, 1937 to Ray and Lela Sanders. She was raised in Missouri and attended
school in Halfway. She was saved at an early age and always kept her faith in our Lord
and Savior. She fell in love with Robin Hildebrand and they were married on June 16,
1956. Afterwards, they moved to Iowa to start their family. She had two sons
and one daughter: Ronnie, Michael and Susan Hildebrand. Later in life they moved back
to Missouri to be closer to family.
Wanda loved and cared for her sisters when they needed her. She loved all of her family and was always there to lend a helping hand. She had many interests. She loved going on road trips, shopping (especially Ross Dress For Less), working in the yard, and cooking delicious meals for her family. She loved cleaning and decorating her house. She also loved cleaning houses along-side her sister Imogene.
One of the things she loved the most was spending time with her two grandchildren. She
loved to spoil them. They were the light of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robin Hildebrand, two sons Ronnie and
Michael, one daughter Susan McCroskey, and one son-in-law Dwayne McCroskey and
two grandsons Johnathan and Joseph McCroskey. She is also survived by two sisters
Imogene and Donna Sanders, as well as one brother, Junior Sanders.
Preceding her in death were five brothers; Carl Jr. Sanders, Bob Sanders, Gary Sanders,
Frank Sanders, and Claudy Sanders; four sisters Melva Faulkner, Betty Cruse, Etta Hayes and Sharon Kay,as well as her parents, Ray and Lela Sanders.
Graveside services for Wanda Hildebrand will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at Slagle Cemetery at 3 PM under the direction of Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 4-6 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO.
