Wanda L. Ince (Fordland)'s Obituary
Wanda Louise Ince, age 83 a lifelong Fordland resident, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 in her home.
Wanda was one of three children born at her grandmother’s home to J.O. “Jim” Moxley and Georgia A. (Ward) Moxley near the Bruner, Missouri area on September 14, 1933. She was united in marriage to Tom Ince on March 16, 1964 in Miami, Oklahoma. Wanda had been teaching school in one room school houses since she was 18 years old. Over her career, she taught for a total of 39 years, with 29 years of that being in the Seymour School system. She had also served as Seymour Elementary School Principal for several years. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed helping Tom with farm work after her retirement.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Vernon Moxley.
Surviving Wanda is her husband Tom of the home; a brother Voyne Moxley and wife Agnes of Fordland, Missouri as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
In lieu of plants and flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be left at the funeral home to either Integrity Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association or Union Chapel Cemetery.
