Wanda Lee (Tyler) Maddux, age 94, of Buffalo, Missouri, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and hard work. She was born on February 14, 1932, in Buffalo, Missouri, to Freeman and Dorothy (King) Tyler. Wanda attended her first church service at just six days old, marking the beginning of a lifelong and devoted relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith remained the cornerstone of her life and was something she lovingly passed down to her family. She was united in marriage to Dale Maddux, and together they welcomed three sons: Ricky, Johnny, and Eddie. In 1957, Wanda and Dale founded Maddux Realty, building a business that became a lasting family legacy and continues to this day. Alongside her work in real estate, Wanda was no stranger to hard work, dedicating herself to both farming and her professional endeavors. In 1984, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Dale. She later found love again and married Albert Brock in 1990, gaining three cherished bonus daughters. Wanda had a special gift for nurturing beauty in all forms. She was known for growing the most beautiful flowers, which she generously shared with others. Like her mother, she was an exceptional cook and baker, always bringing comfort and joy to those around her. In her quieter moments, she found happiness in crocheting afghans and quilting, often creating treasured pieces for family and friends. Above all, Wanda’s greatest joy and purpose in life was loving her family and teaching them about Jesus Christ. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Freeman and Dorothy (King) Tyler; her husbands; Dale Maddux and Albert Brock; and her sons, Ricky and Eddie Maddux.
