Warren Dalton's Obituary
Warren Louise Dalton, daughter of John and Bertha (Armagost) Rush was born July 2, 1918 in Seymour, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, February 17, 2011 in Maranatha Village in Springfield, Missouri at the age of ninety-two years, seven months, and fifteen days.
In June 1940 Warren was united in marriage to Albert E. Dalton and to this union two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Albert in 1997; a son, Jack Dalton; her brothers, Jack, Walter, and Frank Rush; and her sister, Pearl Glenn.
Warren is survived by her son, Gary Dalton, of Buffalo, Missouri; four grandchildren, Brenden, Preston, Sarah, and Charlotte; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther Goss, of Springfield, Missouri; three sisters-in-law, Doris Rush, of Springfield, Missouri, Pearl Barrett and Noramae Dyke, both of Eudora, Kansas; a number of nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives and many friends.
She was born in Seymour and lived there until moving to Springfield, Missouri to make her home in the early 1940’s. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and sons and loved doing quilting and crocheting in her spare time.
Warren was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the precious memories she created for her family and friends.
Services are 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 19, 2011 in Holman-Howe Funeral Home with visitation starting at 1:00 P.M. until service time. Burial will be in Seymour Masonic Cemetery.
