Warren Handy (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Warren Milton Handy, son of Ansel Ray Handy Sr. and Lydia Isabelle Leffert Handy, was born, April 6, 1953 in Freeman, Missouri. He departed this life, Monday, January 4, 2016, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of sixty-two years, eight months and twenty-nine days.
He was united in marriage to Karen Leap. She preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Queen Isabelle Wilkey; a brother, Gene Alexander Handy and a sister-in-law, Linda Handy.
Survivors include his brothers, Ansel Ray Handy, Jr. and wife Jean of Forest Grove, Oregon and Jewell Riley Handy and wife Naomi of Columbia, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Warren was raised in Camdenton and served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the stucco industry and was proud of the work he did throughout Central Missouri.
In his spare time he enjoyed woodcrafts of many kinds. He loved music. He loved playing the piano and strumming a guitar. Most of all, time spent with his family and friends was important.
He made many wonderful memories for those who knew and loved him and we hold tight to those memories.
A private burial will be in Conway Cemetery, Osage Beach.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
