Wayne Rasmussen (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Wayne James Rasmussen, 78 of Tunas, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri.
Wayne was born in 1945, to Wayne Orvill and Loretta Agnes Rasmussen in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wayne graduated from Waynesville High School. After graduation, he entered the United States Air Force. After returning from Vietnam, Wayne had a colorful career in auto parts, building trades and logistics.
Wayne and LaDonna went on to have Paul Rasmussen, their only child.
In retirement, Wayne enjoyed gardening, tinkering with cars and working on his land.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Loretta Rasmussen and brother Bill Rasmussen.
He is survived by his former wife LaDonna Rasmussen, son and his wife, Paul and Trina Rasmussen; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Rasmussen (Lindsay), Zachary Rasmussen (Hannah); 5 great grandchildren Jet Rasmussen, Oakley Joy Rasmussen, Bo Rasmussen, Katie Rasmussen and Abby Rasmussen; 1 brother Joe Rasmussen (Bev).
