Wendy Michelle Camp (Seymour)'s Obituary
Wendy Michelle Camp, long-time Fordland, Missouri resident, was a beloved wife, a devoted mom, loving daughter and granddaughter, a caring sister, aunt, and friend. After a fearless battle with cervical cancer, and with the love of her life, Mikey, by her side, Wendy departed this life for Heaven at 3:03 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020, in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. She was born November 23, 1980, in Springfield, to Belinda (Andreatta) Bellingroehr. Wendy was 40 years young.
She attended Marshfield schools. Mikey and Wendy met during high school at the Fordland Park where they used to play basketball together. On November 2, 2002, she married William Michael Camp and to this union three amazing children were born.
Wendy worked at Sandy's Daycare for 15 years and touched the lives of many children. She loved her ‘littles’ – her name for all the kids with whom she came into contact. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved all holidays, especially Thanksgiving. She loved going back-roading and honky-tonky’ing. Wendy loved playing pool, listening to Luke Bryan, and riding four-wheelers; she played softball for many years. One of Wendy’s favorite things was Sunday Fundays; she would invite everyone to her house for food and football – she loved her Colts.
Wendy attended Mansfield Church of the Nazarene. Wendy gave her life to God and was baptized on October 11, 2020, alongside her daughter Callie.
Preceding her in death was her paternal grandmother, Wanda Smith, and father-in-law, Michael Lee Camp.
Wendy is survived by her husband and soulmate, Mikey Camp and their three children, Cody, Tyler, and Callie – all of the home in Fordland; mother, Belinda Bellingroehr, of Marshfield, Missouri; three sisters, April Andreatta, Katie Smith, and Haley Smith; Jeff Rushing and his wife, Mic Hill, and their three children, were just like family in the Camp home; paternal grandfather, Billy Smith, of Rogersville, Missouri; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Nadine Andreatta, of Marshfield; her mother-in-law, Loretta Garzee; two sisters-in-law, April and Bobby Kastning, and Patricia and Tony Womack; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins; and countless dear friends and neighbors.
Wendy made an impact on the lives of all she met. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy will live on.
Love offerings and memorials are requested to the family to assist with services.
