Wendy Lynn Dufrense (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Wendy Lynn Dufresne, age 58, of Buffalo, Missouri, entered into rest on Sunday, May 18, 2025, with her family by her side. Wendy Lynn Nickerson was born on October 15, 1966, in Denver, Colorado to the late Carl Nickerson and Carol (Faulkner) Nickerson. Wendy was raised by her beloved maternal grandmother, Pearl Faulkner. Wendy worked in many industries in her life including hotel services, housekeeping and as a daycare operator. Her most cherished role however was that of wife and mother. After many beloved years together, Wendy married Gary Allen Kill on October 14, 2008, in Vegas. Together they loved to take motorcycle rides and attend classic car shows. Wendy was an avid reader, building her library book by book until all shelves were full. She passed this love of reading down to her children. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents and maternal grandmother. She is survived by her husband Gary Kill, three children: William Dufresne, Zachary Dittrich, Rachael Dittrich, two bonus daughters: Samantha Kill, Nyssa Kill, four grandchildren: Lincoln, Everly, B.J., Sophia, as well as many dear friends whom she loved as family. Services are scheduled for 1 pm on Saturday, May 24, 2025, with visitation from 12-1 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo.
