Wendy Ann Smith (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Wendy Ann Smith went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020 following a lengthy illness. She was born to George “Scott” Smith and Marcy Smith on February 2, 1977, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She attended Camdenton Schools through high school, and also studied for 2 years at Columbia College. Wendy enjoyed golfing until her health declined. She was an avid photographer and captured many beautiful images. Wendy was baptized at the Church of Osage Hills and attended Hope Lutheran Church. She found strength through her faith in the Lord.
She was dearly loved by her father, Scott, who was her best friend and caregiver. In addition to her Dad, she is survived by her mother Marcy, her sister, Ashley Smith and her niece, Lucy Smith both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, her grandmother Adah DeVries, and by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Smith and her grandmother, Millie Patterson. She is now reunited with her beloved Grandpa George with whom she was especially close. Wendy trusted God’s promises and now dwells in the house of the Lord forever.
