She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben, on March 28, 2007; a granddaughter, Tina Michelle Webster; four brothers, Argus, Estel, Oris, and Don Rogers; and four sisters, Velma Burns, Delpha Sousley, Jessie Pieratt, and Eunice Brown. She was born and raised in Camden County, Missouri. After she and Ben were married, they made their home in the Stoutland community before moving to Whittier, California in 1952. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Wilda also was a supportive pastor’s wife and worked as a seamstress for Draperies by Tina for thirty years. After retiring, she and Ben moved back to Lebanon, Missouri in 1978, and made their retirement home. Wilda made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was a wonderful help to her husband in his ministry for a number of years. Since returning to the Lebanon area, she had attended the Trinity Full Gospel Church. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, riding a motorcycle, and even drag racing with the kids. She possessed an outgoing personality, was fun to be around, and was always the life of every party. She had a fondness for animals and particularly loved her dogs. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed all of her grandchildren. Wilda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends.
