Wilda Lee Ferriel (Hartville)'s Obituary
Wilda Lee Ferriel, age 86, of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Wilda was born on July 1, 1934 to Loman Basil and Nora Velma Wood Ferriel at the family farm six miles northeast of Hartville, Missouri. She lived in Hartville until the late 70’s, attending First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and worked with the GA’s and Sunbeams.
In the late 70’s, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri where she attended Hillcrest Baptist Church until her health declined.
Wilda worked as secretary at Hartville School, for Farmers Home Administration, Empire Gas, and as secretary for a construction company.
She is survived by a sister, Joyce Butts, Ozark, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Glen Fisher, Bob Fisher, Rick Young, Donna Frey, Lea Ann Young and Diana Wilkerson; a number of great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Her parents, a sister, Esther Young, two brothers-in-law, Richard “Dick” Young and John Butts, and two nephews, Phil Young and Don Fisher preceded her in death.
