Wilfred "Junior" Choate (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mr. Wilfred “Junior” Choate, age 77 of Halfway, Missouri passed away on Friday evening, November 23, 2012 at his home in Halfway.
Junior was born September 8, 1935 in Rock Prairie, Missouri, the son of Wilfred James Clarence Choate and Ruth Alberta (Cates) Choate.
On January 28, 1955 he married Delcie Iola Kibby.
Junior was a farmer and owner of JR Pump Service. He was a member of the Walnut Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #467 of Pleasant Hope, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons: Farron Choate and Aaron Choate.
Junior is survived by his wife of 57 years, Delcie I. Choate of the home, three sons, Adrian Choate and his wife Dewanna of Climax Springs, Missouri, Myron Choate and his wife Cheryl of Halfway, Missouri, Errol Choate and his wife Jill of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, one daughter, Desree’ Kapica and her husband Steve of Springfield, Missouri, three brothers, Vester Choate of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Delbert Choate and his wife Rita Jane of Springfield, Missouri, Edward Choate and his wife Bonnie of Bolivar, Missouri, one brother-in-law, Elvin Kibby and his wife Wanda of Bolivar, Missouri, 11 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
