Willard James Carver (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Willard James Carver, 85, of Elkland, Missouri, passed away in his home on May 22, 2020. He was born at home in Pettis County, Missouri on December 25, 1934, along with his twin brother, to Harlin and Lela (Thompson) Carver.
Willard was united in marriage to Opal Hards on February 16, 1985. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed farming and raising pigs. He was a member of the Kansas City Carpenters Union for 63 years, before retiring in 1996.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Opal; six children, Danny Carver of Lake City, FL, Cindy Limbach of Warrensburg, MO, Scott Carver of Syracuse, MO, James Carver of Syracuse, MO, Darren Carver of Hughesville, MO, and Angie Carver of Tipton, MO; three step-children, Bernard Kane of Elkland, MO, David Kane of Kansas City, MO, and Anna Kane of Elkland, MO; numerous grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren. He also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, MO.
