Willard Pyle's Obituary
Willard Leslie Pyle, Jr. son of Willard and Sylvia Hutson Pyle
was born May 7, 1941, in Norwood, Missouri, and departed this life August 30, 2011, in his home near Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy years, three months and twenty-three days.
On January 25, 1963, he was united marriage to Margie Crossland and to this union two sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Leslie Pyle, Sr.,
his wife Margie on April 15, 2010, and his sister, Lois Kelley.
Willard is survived by two sons, Willard Leslie Pyle IV of Mansfield, Missouri, and Mark Pyle and his wife Angie of Red Wing, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Josh, Doug, Mark Jr. Benjamin, Liam, Helen, Katharine and Kelly Pyle; his mother Sylvia Pyle of Mansfield, Missouri; as well as a niece and nephew other relatives and friends.
Willard received almost all of his education in Hartville Schools but attended his senior year at Mansfield where he graduated with the Class of 1959. While living in Springfield, he met and married Margie and after their marriage they moved to Mansfield in 1963 and lovingly raised their sons.
He was a lifelong carpenter and his work was second to none. He was very particular about his woodworking and anyone who he worked for knew that it would be perfect.
Willard had made his profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mansfield First Baptist Church.
In his spare time he loved flying his plane, working on and building computers and was very interested in history.
Willard was a loving father, grandfather, son and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life, will cherish the wonderful memories, and miss him dearly.
