William "Bill" W. Barber (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William “Bill” Warren Barber was born September 20, 1967 in Bellville, Illinois, to Ralph H. “Pecky” Barber and Pamela Thompson Barber. Bill entered eternal rest on Friday, October 23, 2025 in Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was fifty-eight years, one month and four days of age.
Bill was raised in Greenville, Illinois and was a graduate of Greenville High School. In 1987 he moved to Lebanon, Missouri where he would meet is true love and best friend, Lori Thurman. They were married June 17, 1989 and were the parents of three wonderful daughters.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Pamela; his mother-in-law, Mary Thurman; his brother-in-law, Jeff Koontz; and his best friend, John Anthony “Tony” Terry.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Barber, of the home; three daughters, Chandity White and her husband Kelly of Marshfield, Missouri, Haley Bradshaw and her husband Jeremy of Lebanon, Missouri, and Morgan Davidson and her husband Justin of Marshfield, Missouri; two sisters, Sherry Pugh and her husband Matt of Fillmore, Illinois and Tina Koontz of Smithboro, Illinois; his brother, Scotty Barber and his wife Shonda of Greenville, Illinois; five grandchildren, Kolt, Waylon and Wyatt White, Parker Davidson and Lily Bradshaw; and his father-in-law, Jerry Thurman of Lebanon, Missouri.
After Bill moved to Lebanon, he was employed at Landau Boats. He then went into construction and masonry and established his career. He was the foreman with John Smith Masonry in St. Louis and was a member of the 663 Labor Union. Bill was a hard worker and was proud of his work.
Bill enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. He liked listening to country music, as well as rock music and loved cooking for friends and family. He looked forward to hanging out with his friends and loved football. He was all about the Kansas City Chiefs and cheering them on to victory.
Bill loved and cherished his wife, his daughters, and his grandchildren. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a caring and trusted neighbor and friend. He loved his grandchildren so much and enjoyed watching them grow and develop their personalities.
We celebrate a life well lived and know the memories he made with his family and friends will be cherished for a lifetime.
A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.
