William Allen Brown (Bolivar)'s Obituary
William Allen Brown, born on January 31, 1948, in Missouri, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Fairplay, MO. Known affectionately as Allen, he was a kindhearted individual who brought smiles to those around him throughout his life.
Allen dedicated 32 years of his professional life to D.F.A Mid Am, where he was respected and admired by his colleagues. He was a loving father to his son, Matthew, and his daughter Angela, as well as a proud grandfather to his grandson, Josh. He shared many loving years with his late wife, Terry Ann, and found solace in the thought of going home to be with her in heaven.
Allen was a devoted dog lover, often saying that nothing made him happier than the companionship of his furry friend. He had a unique way of connecting with people, always willing to lend a hand and never uttering a bad word about anyone. He was one of those that made others smile, reflecting his own gentle spirit.
He is survived by his sister and will be deeply missed by family and friends who knew him as a person who always asked twice if he wanted the answer to be yes. Allen's impact on the lives of others was profound; he will be remembered for his warm smile and the kindness he shared with all.
Services for William will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Visitation will start at 1:00 PM and the funeral service will be at 2:00 PM immediately following the visitation. Burial will be at Barren Creek Cemetery in Fair Play, Missouri following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Barren Creek Cemetery.
