William "David" Cromer, Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William David Cromer, Jr., son of William David Cromer, Sr. and Lena I. Shumate Cromer, was born January 7, 1951, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-nine years, five months, and two days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Regina Joy Marcum.
David is survived by two sons, Norman Hill, of Lebanon, Missouri and David Davison, of the State of Colorado; a brother, Stephen Cromer, of Lebanon, Missouri; three sisters, Carolyn Schwandt, of Earlville, Iowa, as well as Gayle Dismang, and Kim Fowler, both of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He lived all of his life in the Lebanon area. He graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1969. He then served his country faithfully in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he returned to Lebanon and began working for V.F. Jeanswear for fifteen years. Later, he worked as a forklift operator for the M.F.A. incorporated of Lebanon, until he retired in 2013.
In his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved spending time with his loving dog, “Bo”. His family and friends were important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them.
David was a loving father, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established to Dotson Cemetery. Donations may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 320 S. Adams St., Lebanon, MO. 65536.
There are no services planned at this time.
Interment will be in Dotson Cemetery.
