William Oscie Deaton (Bolivar)'s Obituary
William Oscie Deaton, age 87, of Avery, passed away, Monday, March 21, 2016, in Overton Brooks V.A. Medical Center, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mr. Deaton was born March 5, 1929, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He was retired from Southern Pacific Railroad. He accepted Christ, born again and baptized by the authority of the Avery Missionary Baptist Church in April of 1956. Mr. Deaton was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Underwood Deaton; his parents, William and Arleen Dendy Deaton; two sisters, Lydia Estes and Glenda Edsel
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Deaton of Nevada and James Deaton of Bolivar, Missouri; one daughter, Alicia of Hawaii; one brother and sister-in-law, Tilmon and Marsha Deaton of Avery; and one very special niece, Felicia and her husband, Rex Jump of Bolivar, Missouri.
Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2016, at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Bro. Mike Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Akard Cemetery in Fairplay Missouri, next to his wife, Maxine.
