William Gray (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William Lehman Gray, son of William “Bill” and Konnie Canfield Gray, was born May 27, 1983, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty-seven years, six months, and twenty-six days.
On October 9, 2016, he was united in marriage to Crystal Lynn Cheever, and they shared the last four years.
His father preceded him in death.
William is survived by his wife, Crystal, of the home; two sons, Cameron Gray, and Eli Gray, both of Lebanon, Missouri; three step-sons, Harley Tait, Ronan Tait, and Draven Tait, all of Lebanon, Missouri; his mother, Konnie Gray, of the State of West Virginia; a brother, James Eastman, of Markle, Indiana; a sister, Stephanie Gray, of Hartville, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Thomas Beraz, of Layton, Utah, Randall Gutherie, of Plymouth, Michigan, who were his “mud” buddies, Jet Oberlin, of Lamar, Missouri, Melissa Burgess, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Jason Coleman, of Stoutland, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Lebanon and Camdenton areas and graduated from high school. He served in the United States Navy for a time and was given a medical discharge. He then returned to Lebanon and was a stay-at-home dad, and also worked for WalMart.
He was excellent at computer games and particularly liked Mud and World of Tanks. He also enjoyed going to Casinos and watching videos, especially super natural ones. He loved his family and liked having time with his sons and friends. He enjoyed going out to eat and was a fan of Taco Tuesday’s at T’s Redneck Steakhouse in Lebanon.
William was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made for them throughout the years.
Memorial services will be held Monday, Dec. 28 at 3 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service.
A memorial to the Missouri Kidney Program has been established and donations my be left at the funeral home.
