William Griffitts (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mr. William “Larry” Lawrence Griffitts, age 70 of Morrisville, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born October 10, 1941 in Polk County, Missouri, the son of Lawrence William Griffitts and Margaret (Cribbs) Griffitts.
Larry was saved, at a young age, at Brighton Baptist Church in Brighton, Missouri and still a current member there. He attended church at Morrisville Assembly of God Church and the Morrisville United Methodist Church.
On July 2, 1961 me married Anna Lea Cox in Morrisville, Missouri.
He was a boiler maker for Fluor (Texas) Utilities from 1984 and really never retired, working until he could no longer do so because of his health.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening along with lawn care and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Kevin Lawrence Griffitts, one sister; Judy Boyd, and a grandson; Jeffrey Allan Griffitts.
Larry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anna Lea Griffitts of the home, two sons; Jeff Griffitts of Morrisville, Missouri, Greg Griffitts and his wife Susan of Morrisville, Missouri, one brother; Rick Griffitts and his wife Teresa of Bolivar, Missouri, one sister; Sheryl Ramey and her husband Phil of Bolivar, Missouri, and six grandchildren; Jessie Griffitts, Brooke Davenport, Leshell Griffitts, Blake Davenport, Taylor Griffitts and Carly Griffitts.
