William Robert Jeffryes (Bolivar)'s Obituary
William Robert Jeffryes, 65 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO. Reverend Bill Nichols will conduct funeral services 1:00 PM Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Mo. Bill was born in Springfield, Missouri on December 8th, 1950 to parents William Wilson and Alice Louise Jeffryes.
At the age of 18, Bill enlisted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He married his wife Jenny on October 7th, 1972. They had 3 children; Billy, Dennis, and Tracy. Bill spent most of his career as a laborer who specialized in construction. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage and loved spending time with his beloved dog Cissy. He also loved taking his family to the cabin he built in Winona, Mo. Bill liked to hunt, fish, and ride fourwheelers with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny; sisters, Anna Robertson, Alice Taylor, Patty Richardson; and his brother, Don Jeffryes. He is survived by his children Billy, Dennis, and Tracy. Also by his six grandchildren; Nikki, Haleigh, Billy, Hayden, Kane, and Landon.
