William W. Pettibon (Urbana))'s Obituary
William Warren Pettibon, age 61, of Urbana, Missouri, entered into rest on Friday, May 8, 2026, at his home. He was born on June 7, 1964, in Kansas City, Missouri. William was raised by his mom and stepdad HT Kirk. He served in the United States Army and was discharged honorably. He was a jack of all trades; always keeping busy. William worked as a semi mechanic, a lineman/electrical assistant and tried his hand at upholstery. No job was ever too big or too small for him to try. William married Shawn Vote on May 7, 1990, in Kansas City. He loved his family. William found joy fishing, listening to heavy metal music and was an avid 420 enthusiast. William was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Pettibon, grandmothers: Jessie Pettibon and Mavis Christian, father-in-law Richard Vote. He is survived by his wife Shawn Pettibon; his daughters, Savannah Pettibon and Shelby Pettibon; his grandchildren, Aiden, Theodore, Elodie, Gunner and baby Lila on the way; stepdad HT Kirk; brothers James Pettibon, Jesse Kirk, Brian Kirk, sister Helena Martin; mother-in-law Brenda Vote and a host of nieces, nephews, beloved extended family and friends. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Cantlon-Otterness and Viets Funeral Home, Urbana, Missouri .A celebration of life will be announced at a later date
