William David Rook (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William David Rook was born May 29, 1955, in Lebanon, Missouri, to William O. and Lola M. Starnes Rook. He passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 in Osage Beach Rehab and Health Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was seventy years, three months and six days of age.
William was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School. Following high school, he joined the United States Marine Corp and proudly served his country for twenty years. Following his service with the Marines, he retired and lived in St. Louis for a time before returning to his roots in Lebanon.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lola.
He is survived by two sisters, Vicki L. Crocker of Lebanon, Missouri and Lindsay and her husband Jonathan.
William enjoyed taking care of his yard. He loved watching the rabbits and birds in the yard and appreciated the tranquility he experienced by being outside in nature. He was especially fond of Wrens.
He also liked hot rods and vintage cars and looked forward to attending area car shows.
Most of all, he loved his family and was grateful to have the opportunity to spend time with them. He always looked forward to family gatherings during the holidays and other special occasions.
We celebrate a life marked by an enduring commitment to service and a love for family. His was a life that exemplified leadership and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
