William "Bill" Schultz (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William “Bill” Edward Schultz, age eighty of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Friday, morning, August 30, 2024 in his home. He was born in Wisconsin on April 27, 1944.
Bill lived in Wisconsin, Idaho, Washington, and California for most of his life. After graduating High School in 1962, he established his successful career as a welder in commercial construction, building many schools throughout California. He was a hard worker and was very talented with his craft and served as a mentor to many others in the field. He mentioned many times how much he enjoyed the people he worked with.
Following his retirement, he moved to Lebanon, Missouri to be near his son, Brian. After many months of visiting with Alice over a cup of coffee, he asked her to be his wife and they were married July 23, 2014, Bill was a loving and caring husband and also loved his dogs, Spuds and Rose.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dayna Kimberling Schultz; three sons, Travis, Shawn and Brian; a sister Shirley Killman; a step brother Jack Schultz; and a step-daughter, Connie Rodden Caudle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice of the home; his children, Miranda Dominguez of the state of Tennessee, Melodie Pina and William Shultz, both of the state of Oregon, Debbie Schultz, of the state of California; his step-son, Bobby Rodden, Jr. of the state of Georgia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister, Donna Langsett of Palouse Washington; his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Schultz of Lebanon, Missouri and his sister-in-law, Julie Rayl-Gilstrap and her husband Stuart of Lebanon, Missouri.
Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and was not a complainer. He never said a negative word about anyone.
He could fix anything and was talented in doing leatherwork as well as woodworking. He made several pieces of furniture for him and Alice to enjoy. He loved hunting and fishing and truly enjoyed living in the Missouri Ozarks.
Bill’s Infectious smile and boundless kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him throughout his life. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them.
