William Harvey Seaton (Camdenton)'s Obituary
William Harvey Seaton, son of William Homer and Velma Eidson Seaton was born March 15, 1939 in Macks Creek, Missouri. He departed this life Monday, January 2, 2023 in Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Care Center with his son, Michael by his side, at the age of eighty-three years, nine months and eighteen days.
On May 26, 1961, Harvey was united in marriage to Carolyn Rector and together they shared sixty years of marriage. Carolyn preceded Harvey in death on November 10, 2021.
Harvey was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother Harl Seaton and a sister Rita “Cookie” Johnson.
He is survived by his sons: Michael Seaton and wife Renee and Steve Seaton and wife Pam, all of Macks Creek, Missouri; his grandchildren Nevin Seaton and wife Brandy, Aereall Seaton, Tagen Seaton, and Shae Seaton; his great-grandchildren, Carson and Conner Seaton; his sister, Wanita Willis of Macks Creek, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Harvey was a lifelong resident of Macks Creek and was a graduate of Macks Creek High School. Following his graduation, Harvey entered into the United States Army and served his country until being honorably discharged. Following his Military Discharge, Harvey started his career in construction and worked in that industry until his retirement.
Harvey was saved and was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
In his spare time, Harvey liked to stay busy working around the house and enjoyed time spent with his family. He especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.
Harvey was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 7, 2023 in the Macks Creek Cemetery. No formal visitation is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
