William L. St. John, III (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William L. St. John, III, son of William L. St. John, Jr. and Essie Lethgo St. John, was born December 27, 1973, in Oceanside, California. He departed this life Sunday, January 26, 2020, in his home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of forty-six years, and thirty days.
His mother preceded him in death.
William is survived by a daughter, Destinee St. John, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Emma Chidester, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; his father, William St. John, Jr., of Panama City Beach, Florida; his fiancée, Jessica Dittmer, of Lebanon, Missouri; two step-sons, Skyler and Elijah Dittmer, both of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Chad Shutte, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Dawayne Shutte, of Wichita, Kansas; a sister, Gloria Jeffers, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and attended school there. He worked as a mechanic through the years, and was also an artist. He met his fiancée on line and moved to Lebanon to be with her. He was working in the Crunch Tire Center.
He was very much into Hot Rod art, loved aliens, and transformers. He had a truck that he liked showing at car shows. He was an active member of the New Ground Car Club. He had a quirky sense of humor and could easily make everyone laugh.
William was a loving father, grandfather, son, fiancé, step-father, brother, uncle, and was a good friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A Memorial has been established and donations may be made through the funeral home.
