William Usher's Obituary
William Sherman Usher, age 60, of Collins, Missouri passed away at 2:20pm, Saturday, November 28, 2009 at his mother’s home in Morrisville, Missouri. He was born July 31, 1949 in St. Francois County, Missouri to William P. Usher and Ruby C. (Smith) Usher. William was a Maintenance Engineer for a Hospital in California before retirement and had served two terms in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On January 30, 1995 he married Ronnie Gayle Howard in Bakersfield, California. He was preceded in death by his father, William P. Usher in 1989, two brothers, Charlie Usher and Terry Usher. William is survived by his wife, Ronnie Gayle Usher of Collins, Missouri, his mother, Ruby C. Usher of Morrisville, Missouri, four sons, William Usher, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Jerry R. Usher of Fulton, Missouri, Eric J. Schell, Sean S. Rafferty, two daughters, Billie Ruth Gredler and her husband Mike of Bakersfield, California, Alison Fritts and her husband James of Bakersfield, California, a sister, Ellen Crawford and her husband Jim of Ironton, Missouri, three brothers, Jerry Usher of Morrisville, Missouri, Rex Usher of Reeds Spring, Missouri, Joe Usher of Morrisville, Missouri, and 11 grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri with Military Honors and Casket Bearers provided by the Fifth District Honor Guard of the American Veteran’s AMVETS Post #114 of Flemington, Missouri with Mr. Dale Best officiating under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
