William White (Bolivar)'s Obituary
William White, 93, of Springfield, MO passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at James River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, MO.
William was born February 21, 1924 to William and Blanche Greene White in Garrett, IN. William would proudly volunteer to serve his country in WWII, serving in the Asian-Pacific Theater. On October 1, 1955, William would marry the love of his life, JoAnna Garrett. Upon discharge, William would work at McDonnell-Douglas and LearJet, but found his true calling on the farm.
William was preceded in death by his loving wife, JoAnna, as well as his parents, William Sr. and Blanche. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Patricia White-Stiles, as well as all of his siblings.
William is survived by his son Darrell and wife Connie of Tulsa, OK, and his son-in-law Tom Stiles of Saginaw, TX. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Joe and Amy Stiles, Eric and Alex Stiles, Katie and Frank Herrera, 5 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for William White will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11 AM at Pleasant Hope Cemetery in Pleasant Hope, MO. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 9 AM at Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO.
