Willie O Liles (Hartville)'s Obituary
Willie Orin Liles, son of Bill and Shirley Tendall Liles, was born August 21, 1957 near Hartville, Missouri. He was taken into the Lord’s hands Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Mercy hospital in Lebanon, at the age of fifty-nine years, eleven months, and nineteen days.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Lee Liles; his step-father, Clarence Lansdown Sr.; his half-brother, Ronnie Lansdown; his step-brother, Troy Lansdown; his step-sister, Helen Robertson; and his nephews, Justin and Christopher Wasburn.
Willie is survived by his half-brothers, Junior Lansdown and his significant other Debra Creed, of Hartville, and Troy Lansdown and his wife Jessica, of Hartville; his step-sister Virginia Fisher and her husband Elmer; his sisters-in-law, Missy Cannon and Leslie Holloway; several nieces and nephews; and his family at the Hartville Care Center, which cared for him every day.
Willie was born and raised near the Hartville area. He was born disabled, but he touched the lives of everyone who was around him. He moved into the Hartville Care Center in 1994 and ran the place ever since. Willie loved to watch cartoons every day, most notably Scooby-Doo, Batman, and the movie Cars. Willie loved his family very much and was always excited to see them whenever they came to visit.
Willie was a caring person that lighted up everyone’s day whenever they spoke and visited with him. He created many memories and we will always cherish his life with us.
