Wilma R. Blackburn (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Wilma Roberta Blackburn was born November 8, 1941 to William Obia and Vada Storm Hudson. She passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 in her home in Phillipsburg, Missouri. She was eighty-four years and one month of age.
Wilma was raised in Laclede County and on January 15, 1962, she was united in marriage to Granville Blackburn. They lovingly raised their five children and made many wonderful memories. He passed away August 6, 2008.
In addition to her husband, Granville, Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, William and Vada; her brothers, Clyde Hudson, Murrel Hudson, Vern Hudson, Vernon Hudson and Oscar Hudson; her sister, Marjorie Blackburn.
She is survived by three daughters, Anita Cannon and her husband Tim, Robbie Smith and her husband Pete and Becky Price and her husband, Jeff, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Granville (J.R.) Blackburn, Jr. and his wife Leslie and Doyle Blackburn and his wife Sheila, all of Lebanon, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Carissa Read, Justin Blackburn, Tonya Miller, Terra Berhardt, Kaitlyn Smith, Courtney Segura, Tanji Todd, Julie Kamparth, Jared Price and Brindan Price; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Rubben Hudson, James Hudson and Jerry Hudson; and other relatives and friends.
Wilma enjoyed being a homemaker while raising their five children. After the children were older, she went to work at a hotel before being employed at Rice Stix, H.D. Lee and K-Way. Wilma was then employed at Tracker Marine and would retire from there. She was a very hard worker and was respected by her peers.
She loved going to yard sales and taking road trips. Most of all, Wilma was a devoted and loving mother that loved her family very much. Her home was a haven of warmth, love and laughter where countless memories were created and treasured.
Graveside service for Wilma Blackburn will be Friday, December 12, 2025 at Atchley-Blackfoot Cemetery.
A memorial to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has been established and donations may be made at the funeral home.
