Wilma Boston (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Wilma Chlorine Boston, daughter of Roscoe and Ellen M. Bond Hough, was born February 27, 1927, near Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, April 13, 2012, in Christian Health Care North, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, one month, and sixteen days.
On November 20, 1982, she was united in marriage to Leroy Boston, and they shared fifteen years before his passing on September 22, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Fern Hough.
Wilma is survived by a daughter, Pat Ivey, and her husband, Darrell, of Lebanon, Missouri; two step-children, Nancy and Randy Hall, of Lebanon, Missouri, and David and Kandi Boston, of Topeka, Kansas; two grandchildren, Darrell Ivey, Jr., and his wife, Carla, and Jesse Ivey, all of Lebanon, Missouri; six great-grandchildren, Arianna, Mikayla, Jayden, Kaitlin, Story, and Karley; a great-great-grandson, Carter Cornelison; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Vaughn Hough, and his wife, Bev, of Ventura, California; a sister, Juanita Rhoades, of Marysville, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Laclede County, and lived most of her life in the Lebanon area. Throughout the years, Wilma was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked in area restaurants for a number of years.
Wilma made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was baptized in Bennett Spring. She currently was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed going to auctions. She was always a hard worker and liked caring for her home. Her family was very important to her and they have many humorous moments that they have shared over the years.
Wilma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
