Wilma Hulse (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Wilma Lorene Hulse, daughter of Ralph Garson and Betty Lee Turner Moody, was born March 16, 1939 in the Wolf Creek area north of Mansfield, Missouri and departed this life on January 11, 2013 in her home in Cedar Gap, Missouri at the age of seventy-three years, nine months and twenty-five days.
In 1954 she was united in marriage to Charles Adams and to this union one son was born. Charles preceded her in death in 1956.
On December 24, 1957, Wilma was united in marriage to Jimmy Davis Hulse and to this union two sons and three daughters were born. For the first twenty-six years of her married life, she was an “army wife” and in 1963 the Hulse family settled in Cedar Gap.
In 1983 Wilma was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. She was a devoted Christian who loved God with all of her heart. She lived her life for God and her family and was a faithful loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jimmy on January 29, 2000; two sons, Dwayne Eugene Adams and Billy Ray Hulse; one brother, Carl Moody; and a nephew, Michael Dwayne Moody.
Wilma is survived by three daughters, Debbie Hutson and her husband Jim, Becky Sullivan and her husband Vayden, Lisa Ince and her husband Gerald; one son, David Hulse; one brother, Dwayne Moody and his wife Donna; one sister-in-law, Helen Moody all of Seymour, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, Melissa, Brian, J.W., Mandy, Mindy, Josh, Jed, Justin, Wendy, Emily, Jimmie, Jason, and Janene; fourteen great-grandchildren, Gabe, Alex, Dorian, Mila, Michael, Jonathan, Zachery, Trenton, Alex, Trevor, Abel, Brett, Malory and Mylee; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
In her spare time she enjoyed working in her yard, making flower arrangements, collecting angels, and loved to honor the Lord by decorating her home with inspirational quotes and scriptures. She also enjoyed going on drives through the country, Sunday picnics, and family bbqs. She loved to tell stories of the times she traveled, she always prayed when there was a need, and loved to give praise for so many answered prayers. She was funny and thoughtful and had a smile that could light up a room.
Above all she loved her family and helped them any way she could. Wilma was much loved and will be greatly missed. Heaven has gained another angel.
