Wilma Robertson's Obituary
Wilma Mae Robertson, daughter of Edgar and Blanche Allen Reid, was born November 3, 1939, in Brownfield, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, August 19, 2006, in St. John’s – Lebanon Hospital, Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-six years, nine months, and sixteen days. Early in her life she was united in marriage to Verlin Myers and to this union two sons were born. On January 28, 1978, she was united in marriage to Loman Robertson and together they have spent the last twenty-eight years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Earl Reid, and one sister, Jane Stowe. Wilma is survived by her husband, Loman, of the home; two sons, Skip Myers and Rocky Myers, and his wife, Beth, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two step-daughters, Jill Robertson, and Gail Stephens, and her husband, B.J. “Bill”, all of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a former daughter-in-law, Sandy Hall, of Montreal, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Laclede County area but had lived most of her life in Lebanon. Wilma had worked as a waitress for Caldwells and the Brentwood Restaurants but the last several years had been a homemaker Her family was very important to her and her life revolved around taking care of her husband and children. She was a very cheerful person and always encouraged the people around her. Wilma had made her profession of faith in Christ, and had attended the Crossroads Free Will Baptist Church and the Union Mission Church. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful flowers. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. Memorial contributions to Union Mission Church or St. John's Hospice may be made through the funeral home.
