Wilma Ruble (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Wilma Lee Ruble, daughter of Tai and Inez Smith Stewart, was born January 19, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, April 27, 2018, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-seven years, three months, and eight days.
On August 18, 1962, she was united in marriage to Leaun J. Ruble, and to this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Wilma is survived by her husband, Leaun, of the home; a daughter, LeAnne Rodgers, of the home; a sister, Wanda Wormsbaker, of San Antonio, Texas; a half-sister, Patsy Holst, of Osceola, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1950. Throughout the years, she was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. She had also worked at Mattingly's Dime Store, Medley's Pharmacy, and Annie's Flea Market.
In her spare time she enjoyed writing poetry and liked going to yard sales and flea markets. Her family was very dear to her.
Wilma was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her seventy-seven years.
