William "Olen" Copeland, 94, Bolivar, MO passed away 10:15 AM Friday, March 13, 2015 at his home. He was born November 30, 1920, in Aldrich, MO, The son of William Owen and Golden Eva Copeland.
He married Bertha Haney August 31, 1947, and to this union four children were born.
He loved family and friends gatherings, and cards and letters. He loved bowling, and earlier in life he enjoyed fishing and hunting especially. He enjoyed 30 years of working on the farm and working for Empire Electric Company.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Copeland and wife Carol of Taiwan, Jim Copeland and wife Venetia of Stockton, MO, and Glen Copeland of Bolivar, MO; Daughter, Gayla Stauffacher and husband Alan of Aurora; Four grandchildren, Andy Copeland and wife Blanca of the State of California, Mellisa Guetzkow of Stockton, MO, and Tori Valencia of Florida; Four Great Grandchildren, Vincent, Gabriel, and Chloe Copeland of the State of California, and Atira Guetzkow of Stockton, MO.
He was preceded in Death by his wife, Bertha Copeland; his parents, William and Eva Copeland; three sisters, Grace and Joy underwood, and Marjorie Brown.
