Wm "Scott" Cauble (Seymour)'s Obituary
William Scott Cauble, son of Charles W. and Louise A. (Bierschwal) Cauble was born December 22, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He departed this life Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years, three months and twenty-six days.
Scott, as he was known to his family and friends was raised in the Cape Girardeau area and enjoyed the area lakes and hills. After graduating from College High School in Cape Girardeau he entered the United States Army National Guard, and faithfully served his country from 1966-1971. After his service, he returned to his home town. Scott was blessed with two sons and two daughters. He worked for Bob Tansley Trucking and leased his own truck over the years. In 1995 he settled down in the Seymour area where he opened Countrywide Trailers from 1997-2005. On June 21, 2003, Scott was united in marriage to Sherry (Clemons) Shehorn and the couple lovingly raised their families.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his granddaughter Taylor Deain; and his brother-in-law Bob Hale.
Scott is survived by his wife Sherry Cauble of the home; his children Christy Cauble of West Palm Beach, Florida, Scott Cauble, Jr. and wife Tari , Leslie Parker and Todd Goth, all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his step-children Homer Shehorn and wife Cherrie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Deain and husband Darren of Raymore, Missouri and Ashley Shehorn of Nixa, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and his two sisters Doris Hagedorn and husband Richard of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Mary Hale of Sikeston, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; his beloved Pugs Annabell, Gunnie, Bossy, Kurosh and Tippy; as well as a host of many dear family and friends.
A good man, Scott spoiled rotten those he loved. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing the area lakes and dancing with Sherry. He loved well, lived his life with passion and found joy in the simple things of life. Scott lived his life to the fullest and leaves a legacy of service to his country, love for his family and standing for what he believed in.
Scott Cauble, a loving husband, a devoted Dad and Pa Pa, a cherished brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish the memories he created for each of us.
