Yolanda Gail Pearce, daughter of James and Maud Sumner Slaton, was born December 17, 1952, in Carmel, Indiana. She departed this life Monday, October 29, 2018, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years, ten months, and twelve days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Mark Slaton.
Yolanda is survived by a sister, Janna White, of Lebanon, Missouri; a nephew; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Indiana and graduated from Carmel High School. Through the years, Yolanda was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed caring for her home. In 2007, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri, and made her home.
She enjoyed playing the piano and liked to go fishing in her spare time. Her family was very important to her and she liked visiting with her friends.
Yolanda was a loving sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
