Yuma Rosalie Bryant (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Yuma “Rosalie” Bryant, 79, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri.
She claimed Bolivar as her hometown after marrying Larry Bryant in 1976, where they raised his, hers, and their children, and celebrated 26 years of marriage before Larry passed in 2002.
She was driven by her love for family and friends. Rosalie was born March 13, 1938 to Eva Gertrude and James Clemens, the 14th of 15 children. This large family was and still is a major part of her life. Her favorite activities were fishing, playing cards, preparing for family gatherings, and sharing a cup of coffee with a friend. She will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bryant; and three children: Jane Merrill, of Pacific, Missouri, Jeff Andrews, of Kentucky, and Randy Bryant, of Bolivar, Missouri.
She is survived by one sister: Amanda Hollingshead, of Kansas; daughters: Joan and Lee Dillon, of Fair Grove, Missouri, and Janel and Dennis Reed, of Sparta, Missouri; sons: Jason and Linda Andrews, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Justin and Vicki Bryant, of Bolivar, Missouri; son-in-law, Kevin Merrill, of Pacific, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, too many to count, but lovingly known as “The Clemens Cousins.”
A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Butler Funeral Home, in Bolivar.
Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm, on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Butler Funeral Home, in Bolivar, with burial to follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, in Aldrich, Missouri.
Rosalie's family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, care of Butler Funeral Home.
