Zedith Rae Lillard (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Zedith Rae Lillard, daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Nadine Ruby Williams Tweed, was born February 14, 1934, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, March 10, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, and twenty-four days.
On May 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Don Olan Lillard, and to this union five daughters and two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don, on October 18, 2013; an infant son, Jerry Lillard; and a son-in-law, Joe Williams.
Zedith is survived by five daughters, Becky Williams, of Fairgrove, Missouri, Donna Drew, and her husband, Jim, Katy Lillard, Vicky Winegar, and Susan Nichols, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Stephen Lillard, of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Candi Drew, and her fiancé, Chris Sides, Catherine Jones, Eric Whitehead, and his fiancée, Taylor Schoonover, Gregory Whitehead, and Lane Williams, and his wife, Darci; seven great-grandchildren, April, Shayla, Gabriel, Memphis, Emilee, Charles, and Cali; a sister, Eugenia Savage, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. After she and Don were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their children. Zedith was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family through the years.
In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, knitting, and loved her cats. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Zedith was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
