Alan was he best Kitty Sister I ever had. He loved animals and was always so sweet to my Cat. He even gave her the rest of her name Samantha "Magilla kitty" When she misbehaved I always called her by her full name. I will miss his since of humor. He was a kind and patient person. This was evident by the years he took care of his mother and never complained. It is a special person who can give up their life and come home to care for a family member.
Alan was truly one of a kind and I am blessed to have known him. Even though it has been 2 years that he has been in my life I will have a lifetime of memories of him. I would call him when I was having a day just to hear him say "I am very well damn fine. And how the hell are you?" He would always make my day brighter and I would jump at the chance to go see him. He holds a special place in my heart and I want to say THANK YOU to his family for sharing such an amazing man with me!!! I love you "old man" always and forever!!!!
My condolences to his family.. Alan was an ornery sweetheart who I was blessed to know. I enjoyed our bantering back and forth and he was fun to be around. He had a heart of gold. I'm sure he's trying to give the angels a hard time. He will be greatly missed.
