When I left the stores to work in the office Alice was my supervisor. She was so caring and thoughtful! In the years after I left and she retired I was fortunate to see her at the Holiday party every year. This year will not be the same without Alice! I will never forget her🙏😘
I started working at Davis Paint in 1997. Alice had already retired, but was coming in and working part time. Alice took the time and trained me from my temporary position to a full time position that has now lasted me 22 years. I am forever grateful for her devotion, no mess, no bull, do it the right way of learning. I still enjoyed each year when she would call Davis Paint to visit right before the holidays.
I am very sorry to hear of her passing. And I am very sorry for your loss. I treasured your mother. I treasured my short time working with her. Her values and work ethic are part of what shaped me today.
