Barbara Jackson-Mayberry
I am the youngest daughter of Amies sister Lola. I last visited Aunt Dood after my mother passed. As always she was ready with a kind word and a hug for myself and my eldest daughter Candice. She took some time to explain how to make a crocheted rug,but of course now I dont remember. During summer visits to Missouri as a child,my fondest memories include Aunt Dood. She was never too busy for us kids. I recall her bringing a baby bunny in the house one time wrapped in a towel and keeping it warm by the woodburning stove. She has a special place in my heart..till we meet again
