Carol Ann Mattson, 71 was born December 16th, 1946 in Mesa Arizona to Jack and Imogene Palmer. She passed away peacefully at her home in Tunas, Mo on October 8, 2018 after her battle with cancer. Carol was raised mostly in Arizona Read Obituary
Carol, myself (Susan) and our friend Martha met on the first day of 8th grade, at East Jr. High, Mesa, Arizona, and from that day on we were the best of friends. Martha eventually moved back to Ohio w/her family, and I moved to Missouri (FairGrove) and then back to Michigan. Every vacation was spent back in Arizona, and I always wanted to go back to live. Martha went back, and I went back out 2 different times and lived w/Carol's family. I knew them as well as I knew my own family. Carol was a hard worker when she and Dan started milking cows, She loved her children and on occasion I would get back to visit her. Long story short, Carol gave life all she had. She loved to travel, and was so proud of her girls and grandchildren. They took her on trips and they loved going on cruises, and going to the casino. She just got back from a trip to Florida, and I'm so glad they were able to take her there. I can imagine that Carol is having a wonderful reunion with Danny, her Mom and Dad, and brother Vonnie.
