Carol Ann Mattson (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Carol Ann Mattson, 71 was born December 16th, 1946 in Mesa Arizona to Jack and Imogene Palmer. She passed away peacefully at her home in Tunas, Mo on October 8, 2018 after her battle with cancer. Carol was raised mostly in Arizona where she met her loving husband Daniel Mattson. They were united in marriage May 28th, 1973. Shortly after that they moved to Tunas where they started their family.
She worked multiple jobs and whatever new adventure her and Daniel wanted to get into such as farming, running a saw mill, and a flea market while raising three girls. She enjoyed many things such as traveling, gardening, painting, crafting, and going to the casino, and especially spending time with her family. Carol was kind and a fun-loving mother and grandmother who loved a good laugh. She was spontaneous and always ready to add another chapter to her story. She was proceeded in death by her father and mother Jack and Imogene Palmer, her brother Vaughn Palmer, and her husband Daniel Mattson
She is survived by her daughters Danielle Mattson, Stacey Powell, and Dana Mattson all of Tunas. Her grandchildren Whitney and Makayla Marcum, Carter Gregory, and Harper Mattson. And her great grandchildren Wyatt Jones and Tenlei Brown.
The Visitation will be at Cantlon, Otterness, & Viets funeral home on Wednesday October 10, at 6pm to 8pm. The Service will be on Thursday October 11, at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Plad Cemetery. There will be a meal to follow at Plad Southern Baptist church.
