Chandi J. Hoeppner (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Chandi Jane Hoeppner, daughter of Jeffrey D. and Beth J. Grogan Hoeppner, was born July 30, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She departed this life Saturday, September 26, 2020, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty years, one month, and twenty-seven days.
She was preceded in death by her maternal step-grandfather, Robert Dean Ostlund.
Chandi is survived by her parents, Jeffrey and Beth Hoeppner, of Independence, Missouri; a sister, Jenifer Hoeppner, and her husband, Josh Casbolt, of Lowestoft, England; a nephew, Jasper Casbolt; her maternal grandmother, Lois Jane Ostlund, of Lebanon, Missouri; her paternal grandparents, Gerald D. and Peggy Hoeppner, of West Valley City, Utah; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Utah and then moved with her family to Colorado when she was twelve. She attended school in Colorado where she made her home for thirteen years. The family then moved to Independence, Missouri, and Chandi made her home in Lebanon, Missouri for the last two years. She had worked as a sales clerk at Walmart and Walgreens in Colorado and Missouri.
Chandi loved animals of all kinds but particularly liked horses. She also enjoyed doing puzzles. She had a unique outlook on life and was very generous. She loved her family dearly, was especially close to her sister, and cherished her nephew that she never got to meet.
Chandi was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established to the family, or in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Chandi will be laid to rest in Lake City, Colorado at a later date.
