Cresencia Estrada Lewis (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Cresencia Estrada Lewis, daughter of Victoriano and Carmelita Estrada, was born April 29, 1964, in Olongapo City, Philippines. She departed this life Monday, May 9, 2011, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of forty-seven years, and ten days.
On September 3, 1990, she was united in marriage to Paul David Lewis, and to this union two sons were born.
Cresencia is survived by her husband, Paul, of the home; two sons, David and Tristen Lewis, of the home; her parents, Victoriano and Carmelita Estrada, of Gordon Heights, Philippines; three brothers, Emmanuel Estrada, and his wife, Vicky, Victoriano Estrada, and his wife, Edna, and Nestor Estrada, and his wife, Eryna; seven sisters, Yolanda Denice, and her husband, Jim, of Warwick, Rhode Island, Cristita Mortiz, and her husband, JoJo, Ana Mortel, and her husband, Edgar, and Edna Navarete, and her husband, Arman, all of Manila, Philippines, Marie Agala, and her husband, Romel, Bernadette Flores, and her husband, Ray, both of Gordon Heights, Philippines, and Victoria Yrorita, and her husband, Vladamir, of Las Vegas, Nevada; a number of nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Betty Lewis, of Falcon, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hoffmann, and her husband, Kevin, of Bathalto, Illinois; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Philippines and attended high school and Columban College. After Cres and Paul were married, they made their home in various locations while Paul was serving in the military. In 2007, the family made their home in the Falcon, Missouri area. In addition to being a devoted homemaker and mother, Cresencia was also working as a maintenance clerk at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Cresencia was a member of Olongapo City Christian Church in the Philippines and had attended Family of Faith Church where she was very involved in church activities.
In her spare time she enjoyed growing beautiful flowers in her garden, and cooking for her family. She loved her sons dearly and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them.
Cresencia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.
